best weekend.

This weekend was simply amazing. the weather was perfect, and i was with the most enjoyable people ever. all day picnics, rooftop sangria drinking dancing, relaxing and bbq all day in the sun. I love you friends, and the new people i met i hope to see more of you. (even though no one cares about this post, i just need to put it out there.)

thanks for making my weekend amazing.

new things a comin

classes end this week. my final crit is on may 4th. i'm excited about my exhibition/installation and everything.

going on a vacation with my lovely boyfriend, then back to chicago for two months.

moving to new york in june.

lots of good things to come.

also, about two weeks ago i was outside my school building and i heard a woodpecker. the sound is usually annoying, but i couldnt listening, i looked for it but all i could here was the rattling of the birds beek against the wood. lovely

i've had the chance to get to know family i never got to know by listening to late night table conversations my grandfather recorded in 1979.80
tons of love letters that my grandmother and grandfather wrote when he was in the war in the 40's.
and the negatives my mother saved of her family from the 50s.

this project is huge, i've had an amazing time learning about my family.
